Early Childhood

Our Junior Exploration and Exploration Classes are for children ages 3 to 6

AT TCS, we nurture young learners’ natural curiosity and creativity through hands-on exploration and meaningful collaboration. Our early childhood classrooms are joyful, engaging spaces where children feel excited to come to school each day, knowing their ideas and discoveries are valued.

We believe children are capable, inquisitive thinkers who learn best when given opportunities to explore, question, and create. Through play-based, interactive experiences, students ask big questions, solve problems, and make meaningful connections to the world around them. Our educators coach children in developing their own thinking, confidence, and independence, helping them take ownership of their learning while fostering a deep love of discovery.

We create a warm, dynamic environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued. Our approach is rooted in research-based principles, including Self-Determination Theory, Self-Efficacy Theory, and Attribution Theory, ensuring that each child is supported not only academically but also in their social and emotional growth. By encouraging curiosity and collaboration from the very start, we lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

Our holistic and child-centered approach to early childhood education promotes children's development and joy of learning.

Strong relationships between teachers and children are built on mutual respect and trust.

The physical environment of our classrooms is designed to be open-ended and inviting, encouraging exploration and creativity.

Character development is a key component of our approach.

By encouraging creativity, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, promoting social and emotional development, supporting language development, and building a strong foundation for future learning, we believe our approach provides a valuable educational experience for our students.

We foster collaboration among children, who work in small groups to solve problems and create projects.

Our Early Childhood Philosophy
