Tiffany Chan

Tiffany Chan is the founder of Neighborly Strategies and a strategy consultant, facilitator, education strategist, and multidisciplinary artist. She partners with schools and mission-driven organizations to clarify their direction, navigate organizational transformation, and translate ambitious ideas into coherent strategies, processes, and systems. Her work includes strategic planning, institutional research and data analysis, leadership and team development, organizational design, and the design and facilitation of leadership retreats.

She began her career at McKinsey & Company, spending four years advising organizations on growth strategy. Tiffany then served as Director of Strategy for a K–12 independent school, where she designed the school’s COVID-19 response and led work spanning Head of School transitions, strategic planning, campus acquisition, employee experience, and the development of leadership frameworks and systems for evaluation and growth.

She later founded Neighborly Strategies to partner with community-oriented teams, creative ventures, and nonprofits to untangle complexity, align around purpose, and turn bold, values-driven ideas into intentional action through deeply collaborative and responsive strategy.

Across her in-house and consulting roles, Tiffany has worked with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to strengthen alignment, decision-making, and the capacity to move from strategy to implementation.

Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors and a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Apparel Design from The University of Texas at Austin. Her approach brings together analytical rigor, creative thinking, and participatory process design. She is committed to helping leaders make thoughtful, meaningful choices, build structures that support lasting change, and create more equitable, learner-centered institutions where people can thrive.
